PRESENTATION OUTLINE
SIMPLE FACTS
- The black holes cannot die
- Scientists think that black holes are made out of stars
- Black holes cannot be captured by camera
- Scientists don't know how many black holes there are
- It is impossible for us to know how big a black hole is
THE FIRST BLACK HOLE WAS:
- found in1971
- predicted in 1916 by Albert Einstein
- created by space - 300 years after the Big Bang
- The Big Bang was 14 billion years ago
If things would get sucked into a black hole, the things would get crashed and destroyed by something called "singularity". Singularity is the point of center in a black hole, where it is almost like a wall, so that anything that would go in to a black hole gets crashed, almost as if you would throw a glass hard on the ground.
We have no information now on where in a black hole the singularity is, but most likely it is at the very end of the black hole. Every black hole has its own singularity.
Some may say that the things that get sucked into a black hole gets transferred to another place, like another planet or city, but now the scientists have realized that it is impossible for that to happen.
The transformation is also called "wormholes" or "shortcuts".
As far as the scientists know, nothing would survive going into a black hole.
It is possible for the black holes to suck other black holes in and if that would happen, the black hole would get even bigger.
Anything can get sucked into a black hole, even the sun. If a black hole is created near the sun, the sun will be destroyed since the gravitational pull from the black holes are stronger than anything else in the universe.
Even though light is the fastest speed in the universe, it can't escape the gravitational pull from black holes.
