  • In North America they are known as black cougars

  • Weight : 29 to 91 kg
  • Lifespan : 12 years in the wild and 20 in captivity
  • Diet : Carnivore

  • Black with dark black spots
  • Silver-grey eyes
  • Small heads

SEXUAL MATURITY

  • Male - 40 months
  • Female - 18 months
The female black panther looks after her cubs for 18-24 months. The male does not take part in raising the cubs
