Location
The Black foot tribe lived in the northern regions of the US and southern Canada
They were nomads

Daily Life
Men- Hunted. Provided for family.
Women- Sewed, cooked, and looked after family.
Kids- Fished, small tasks.

Food
Their main source of food was buffalo. They did not eat many vegetables or fruits.
They killed buffalo with bows and by driving them off cliffs.

Housing
The Blackfoot lived in tipis. Tipis are tents made of sticks and tanned buffalo hide.
They moved around and followed the buffalo migration patterns.

Spiritual Belifs
The Blackfoot believed in a pseudo- god called Old Man. Old Man was michevious and decietful.
Most of their legends involved nature, like the story "How The Ducks Got Their Colors" involved old man tricking someone.

The Blackfoot belived that everything, living or not, had a soul and could be good or evil.
They have a holiday every year called "Sun Dance" celebrating the buffalo.

Crafts
The Blackfoot painted the,selvess and their homes, as well as weaved and sewed.

These days, The Blackfoot tribes live in North US and South Canada.
The population has dropped to 25000, but they are thriving.
They did not join another tribe.
