HISTORY

  • Tajikistan was asked to repay a 47 million dollar loan from the U.S
  • In 1868 most of Tajikistan was incorporated into the Russian Empire
  • In 1920 Tajikistan left the Russin Empire and joined the Soviet Union
  • In 1991 they left the Soviet Union on its collapse

RELIGION

  • Tajiks religion is Islam
  • The Six Pillars of Faith is a belief the have
  • Islams believe that there is more than one God
  • Muslims believe that there is only one God
  • They are free to practice there religion and there are no conflicts

  • The most popular sport in Tajikistan is soccer.
  • Other favorite sports include basketball, volleyball, and, in urban areas, tennis.
  • Soccer and basketball are the main sports children play at school.

DAILY LIFE

  • They eat berries, grapes, melons, mushrooms, figs, wheat, and carrots and meat
  • The females wear dresses most of the time
  • Men wear long sleeve shirts and saggy pants
  • They mostly live in rock like houses on the side on mountains.

  • Since there close to Russia that why they speak Russian
  • And they are Tajiki because thy live in Tajikistan

  • Weddings, birthdays, and other such celebrations provide the main opportunities for leisure in rural areas. .
