• He believed that it didn't give credit where credit was due
• He never played for the fame or the money
• The individual awards "missed the point"

PERSERVERENCE

• Was 125 lbs. at first camp
• Was laughed at for how small he was
• "But i was where i wanted to be,
• at the rink playing hockey"
• Effect: Changed lives
