  • Adults weigh 4-18 kg
  • Extended hair beneath ears
  • Nose pinkish red
  • Eyes are yellow

  • Woodlands
  • Deserts
  • Forest and mountain
  • Swamp
  • Most of the continental United States

FOOD

  • Prey and predator
  • Carnivore
  • Rabbits
  • Hares
  • Rodents
  • Ducks
  • Squirrel

FAMILY AND BEHAVIOR

  • Crepuscular
  • Each night it moves 2-7 miles
  • Felidae
  • Scents from urine to mark territory
  • Baby's are called kittens
  • Good at hunting, stalking prey, and grabbing meal on one great leap
  • 1-6 kittens each nurse
