• We are in intimate communion with Christ as individuals.
• Through the Body of Christ we are closely related to one another.
• We all play different, unique roles in the Body of Christ.

SHARED GROWTH

• Together, we grow through love and other virtues.
• As a community we share joys and sorrows, especially those of the suffering
• Things that sometimes divide us do not matter in the Body of Christ.

HEAD OF THE BODY

• Christ is the head of the Body.
• The Church receives its life from Christ.
• Christ unites all members of the Church.
• He does this so they will resemble Him more.
• He unites us with His Paschal Mystery.

• Christ helps us grow toward Him.
• Christ can transform bad situations and bring new life.
• Christ and the Church together make up the "whole Christ".
