Bois de Boulogne is the second largest public park in Paris, smaller than Bois de Vincennes which is located in the eastern side of the city.
IT WAS CREATED BETWEEN 1852 AND 1858 BY EMPEROR LOUIS NAPOLEON.
IT IS A REMNANT OF THE ANCIENT OAK FOREST OF ROUVRAY.
