BOLIVIA

The highest navigable lake in the world is found in Bolivia at 12,382.5 feet above sea level. It takes six hours to cross Lake Titicaca. It's also one of the deepest lakes in the world.

THE BOLIVIAN CURRENCY IS KNOWN AS THE BOLIVIANO.

THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE SPOKEN IS SPANISH.

There are over 37 official languages of Bolivia due to the high indigenous population.

Quechua was the language spoken by the inca empire, it was a mostly verbal language and there isn't much evidence which provides spelling or writing by the Incas. According to the 2009 constitution all 37 of the native languages are considered official.

Approximately 78% of the population are Roman Catholic, 19% are Protestant, 2.5% no religion and 0.5% other.

Most of the people who live in Bolivia practice Catholicism. Although the native people in indigenous areas still practice traditional ceremonies and believe in multiple different gods.

ROMAN CATHOLIC IS TAUGHT IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS YET THE STUDENTS AREN'T FORCED TO GO TO SERVICES.

Bolivia is a republic government.

Boliva has been a part of the UN since November of 1945.

The president of Bolivia doesn't agree with many US policies. The relationship between Bolivia and the US has been dampened due to the eradication of cocoa crops and drug trafficking in different regions of Bolivia.
