BOOK PRESENTATION!

My First Book of my own choice was Percy Jackson and The Lighting Thief

These are the Characters from the book. My favorite to the left is:Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena. Goddess of Wisdom. In the middle is Perseus Jackson or Percy Jackson. He is the son of Poseidon, god of the seas. To the right is Grover Underwood. A satyr: Half man/Half Goat.

All of these things are myths though.

So, this book is about Percy Jackson. A teenage demigod who finds out his father is Poseidon and must save the world before it gets destroyed. This is because Percy is accused of be the thief who stole Zeus's lighting bolt. Now, must travel with his new demigod friends, find a return the bolt. Sounds like an adventure to me.

The second book I read was Coraline.

Here is a quick summary of Coraline. Coraline is a book about a young girl, who finds a door in her family room. At first, it leads nowhere, but now it leads to another world. She finds her other mother and other father, but sons regret her choice of coming here, once she discovers her parents are missing. Coraline must be be brave to save her parents and three lost souls. Do you think she can make it?

My favorite part of Percy Jackson is when he realizes that he is the son of Poseidon because he never knew his father and now we know his father claimed him

My rank for Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief would be a 5 because this book is amazing. I think it is amazing because it has the perfect amount of Drama, Adventure, and Comedy. Also, explains and tell myths.

MAIN CHARACTERS/ DESCIPTIONS

• Percy Jackson- Main protagonist. Teenage demigod who asks questions about people's business. Son of Poseidon and is able to control water
• Annabeth Chase- Very smart and wise. Daughter of Athena. Weapon is a knife. She was born from thoughts.
• Grover Underwood- A satyr. Easily scared, eats anything , and best friends are Annabeth and Percy.
• Chiron- Centaur- Half-man Half-Horse. Son of Kronos. Given immortality by Zeus, as long as he helps and teaches young demigods.
• Luke Castellan- Son of Hermes. Hermes- god of messengers. Luke also betrays Camp Half-Blood

MAIN CHARACTERS

• Coraline Jones- main protagonist. Sarcastic, mature and loves exploring.
• Other Mother- Evil, deceiving, took Coraline's parents away and loves Coraline, kinda.
• Other Father- Nice and is under the control of the other mother.
• Mr. Bobbinsky- a nice man who trains mice. The mice know what's gonna happen.
• Miss Forcible- A elderly lady who was an actress with her best friend Miss Spink.
• Miss Spink- another actress who is best friends with Miss Forcible and was an actress.
• Cat- a cat who is able to talk and hates rats.

My favorite part of Coraline is when she finds her parents because she really missed them and loves them a lot, and now will treat them with more respect.

My rank for Coraline would be a 1 because, I didn't get capitavated by the book. It was scary and a little disturbing to my opinion. But, it was a good book to read.

My rank for Titan's Curse would be a 5. It was so intense finding out what would happen to Annabeth, Rachel Dare, and which person dies!!Rick Riordan really knows how to captivate readers.

In Titan's Curse,
Percy, Thaila, Grover, and Annnabeth find two half-bloods at a school. Thenwhen trying to rescue them, Annabeth is kidnapped. Percy is worried and something is going around about Annabeth wanting to become a Hunter of Artemis?! Then, Hunters of Artemis come along and Bianca joins them. There is also a prophecy and two of them dies? Who will die and will Percy find Annnabeth? Also Artemis has been kidnapped? WHAT!?

MAIN CHARACTERS/DESCIPTIONS

• Percy Jackson- Son of Poseidon and One of the Child of the Big Three. Percy is a goof-ball and does dumb, dangerous things, but loves being helpful
• Annabeth Chase- daughter of Athena. Annabeth is very intelligent and wise like her mom, but has a fun side of her.
• Grover Underwood- satyr who is protecter of Percy Jackson. Grover is sometimes scared and afraid of things, but when it comes to friends, he is their protector and helping, loving hand.
• Thaila Grace- daughter of Zeus, and Child of One of the Big Three. Thaila is serious and cool. But if you mess with her, don't be suprised when she will shock you if you anger her.
• Luke Castellan- traitor and son of Hermes. Luke is a traitor and doesn't understand that helping Kronos is stupid. He is stubborn and was a kind friend. He is also deceiving and dim-witted.
• Chiron- centaur and immortal helper to demigods at Camp Half-Blood. A natural leader, son of Kronos, who loves helping and teaching half bloods.
• Zoe Nightshade- daughter of Atlas and a immortal Hunter of Artemeis. Zoe is mean and ok at the same time. She is a friend who will never give up on you. She has a hard time with heroes because of something that happened a millennia ago.
• Nico di Angelo- son of Hades and One of the Big Three children, younger brother of Bianca di Angelo. At first Nico is a sweet, loving young boy, but he soon looses something he loves and becomes angry, independent, and dark.
• Bianca di Angelo- daughter of Hades, older sister of Nico di Angelo. Bianca is a young girl, who is pleasant and wants a taste of freedom from raising her little brother.
• Artemeis- goddess of virginty, the hunt, and the moon. Older twin of Apollo. A goddess who is very serious and a leader to her Hunters.
• Apollo- god of the Sun, healing, music, prophecies. Younger twin of Artemis, but jokes around saying he is older. A jokester, who is a god, but will be serious sometimes.

My favorite part of Titan's Curse is when they find Annabeth and Zoe dies because after she died, Artemis made her as a constellation and will forever be with the stars.
