INTO THE FREE

CHARACTERS

• Millie
• Millie is the main character and has the most difficulty.
• She has so much bravery,strength,love, and faith.
• She just wants to get through life.

CHARACTERS

• Bump
• Bump comes into the story later.
• He can train any horse.
• His only weakness is that Millie doesn't love him like he loves her.

CHARACTERS

• Sloth
• Sloth is like a father to Millie.
• He is responsible kind he knows how to hunt.
• He is brave and cares for Millie.

CHARACTERS

• Mama
• She is not very strong.
• Mama, or Marie is beat by her husband
• Marie gets in this state called the valley where she is very sad.
• She believes in god and Millie is what she loves most.

CHARACTERS

• Jack
• Jack is Marie's husband.
• He doesn't care for Millie even says she's not worth a cent.
• He works at the rodeo and travels with it.
• You don't find out what he believes in only that he is the best bull rider in the town.

CHARACTERS

• River
• River is a member of the gypsies.
• Millie and river fall in love very fast.
• River is very kind and got his name from falling in the river as a baby.

EXPOSITION

• Millie,Jack, and her mother live in a little cabin on someone's land.
• Millie spends most of her time with Sloth who is more of a father than jack.
• One day sloth and Millie are resting under a tree they fall asleep but sloth never wakes up.
• Millie is devastated.
• Now 16 Millie unburys the box she found so many years ago.

RISING ACTION

• Millie finds the Gypsies, she falls in love with river.
• River wants Millie to leave with him she goes home, but finds her mother half dead on the floor.
• Her mom is put in the hospital and Millie does not leave
• Jack does not come back he simply sends letters saying forgiveness?
• When out of the hospital Millie starts to talk to her mother about the box she Buried.

CLIMAX

• Marie or Millie's mom tells her about the things in the box the picture was jack and his family.
• The other objects also all belonged to jack. But there was a ring every time she tried to talk
• About it Marie would turn over and sleep. Millie wanted to know more about jack she wanted to see him at the rodeo.
• Millie goes to the rodeo to see her father everyone cheers for how wonderful he is. She watches as everything
• Goes wonderful until jack falls of the bull and it pierces right through him. Jack is sent to the hospital but dies.

FALLING ACTION

• Millie doesn't cry,but her mother does more than anyone.
• Millie meets Diana and she is very kind. Diana takes care of Millie and her mom.
• Millie's mom is taken into the insane asylum but takes her life. Millie has no one but Diana.
• The rodeo owner gives Millie a job and she meets bump he falls in love with her but she doesn't love him.
• Millie waits for river to return, she explains to bump she was suppose to leave with him but couldn't.

RESOLUTION

• Bump tries to tell Millie River isn't good enough.
• He says that if he can train a wild mare that she would have to marry him, Millie agreed.
• Millie met with river she knew he was not the one that bump would be bump was her love.
• Millie went to the rodeo but bump wasn't there the rodeo owner told her to go to the pond.
• When Millie arrived there he was on the wild mare bump had did it." Millie marry me" he said.

FIRST PERSON

PERSON VS. SELF

• Millie has a hard time her boy friend goes away without her.
• Her mom and dad pass away.
• She overcomes it by joining the rodeo and finding bump.
• They get married and live awesome lives together.

OPINION

• I loved my book, it took me a while to find it but I enjoyed it.
• I don't think it's for a child under the age of ten because it's a very safisticated.
• But if you like a book of romance secrets and happiness read it.
