I think Laura is curious because she wants to know whats going on all the time. Even if she dosen't need to know. Whenever her Ma or Pa is doing something new, she wants to know what they are doing.

I also think Laura is kind because she puts others first, like her sister, Mary. Even if she dosen't want to! She also helps around the house so others don't have to.

Laura and her family are living in a little cottage in the big woods of Wisconsin. They have struggles in the winter, and they have struggles with hunting, but Ma and Pa knew what to do. So in the meantime, Laura, Mary, and baby Carrie spent as much time as they could with each other.
