authors PURPOSE

this story is written in third person limited the author is bias against war and suffering "don't play it anymore" pg.134 Jonas is telling his friends to stop playing violent games." the giver had chosen a disturbing memory that day"pg.100 Jonas just saw how cruel humans were before the perfect world came to be.
