THEMES IN DIVERGENT

• Even though someone is not physically strong doesn't mean they're not mentallt strong.
• Some people are not who they seem even if they blend in.
• No matter how hard you try some things are not meant to be.
• Expect the unexpected even though it does not seem true.
• If you think it can happen it can.

TRIS LEARNED THESE LESSONS WHEN

• Tris has a strong mind even though she physically strong
• She found out Four was divergent
• She tried to hide her divergence but she could not
• The war started and she became very importaint
• Tris thought she could destroy the surum and did

In the book Divergent Tris is telling the story. Since Tris, the main character, is telling the story this makes it 1st person. If the main character is telling the story it tells more about the story. She can include her thoughts and feelings. When Tris was zip-lining you could tell that she was worried because she had never done it before.
