Eleven-year-olds Conor, Abeke, Meilin and Rollan each live in different corners of Erdas. Conor is the servant of a noble. Abeke lives in a remote village. Meilin is the wealthy daughter of a high-ranking general, and Rollan is an orphan, recently jailed for theft. At their nectar ceremonies, each summons an animal. They're not just any animals: They are the reincarnated spirits of some of the world's 12 Great Beasts, known as the Four Fallen. The great wolf Briggan appears to Conor. Abeke receives Uraza, the leopard. Meilin gets Jhi, the giant panda, and Rollan receives the falcon Essix.

PLOT

• Setting-Spirit Animals takes place Erdas, a world where humans bond with spirit animals from their childhood.
• Conflict- is that four kid get spirit animals but not just any they are they fallen four and the have to defend the land from the destroyer.
• Climax: is when both they good guys and the bad guys go to get one of the 12 great beast and they meet the bad guys and a battle breaks out.
• Point of view is first person but it is from the eyes of all 4 of them
• Theme: never give up op always try and teamwork is key.

MAIN CHARACTERS

• Connor, a shepherd boy from the Europe who summons a wolf
• Abeke, from the Africa summons a leopard
• Meilin, from the China who summons a panda
• Rollan from northa Mercia and he summons a falcon
• The antagonist is the destroyer and he wants to take over and will let nothing stop him
