KELSI'S BOOK TALK

I read the book Q B 1 written by Mike Lupica.

The reason why I chose this book is because I thought I should try to choose a book outside of my original choice.

What's with all of the Dallas Cowboys logos? You might ask. The answer to that question is because this book takes place in Texas.

• Barret "Bear" ( one of the Cullen's family friend)

SUMMARY
The book is about a 13 year old boy named Jake (only his mom can call him by his birth name, Jacob) who has to play football in the shadow of his older brother, Wyatt. He's the backup quarterback for his high school football team. But when his quarterback, Tim, gets injured, who's to step up for his place? That's right. Jake. To see how the game turns out, you have to read the book.

The genre of this book is realistic fiction because the book talks about the Dallas Cowboys and the Manning Brothers.

People who might like this book are people who enjoy sports and know a lot about football. ( Carter )

The theme of this book is to not give up on yourself and to not think of yourself as a waste of space when you really are something special 😜

I give this book 5 out of 5 footballs because I really enjoyed the way that Mike Lupica wrote this book.

The authors point of view was in 2nd person.

I think the authors purpose for writing this book was to teach a lesson. Because Jake had to learn that not everyone can be perfect at what they want to do.
