What It Is

  • continuous pattern of instability in interpersonal relationships, self-image and emotions.
  • Antisocial personality is a personality disorder, characterized by a pervasive pattern of disregard for, or violation of, the rights of others.

  • Extreme impulsive behavior (overspending, binge eating)
  • Unstable self image (teenagers....but extreme)
  • Unstable relationships (idolization and apathy)
  • Extreme mood swings (minute, hour, daily baisis)
  • Explosive anger

Examples of What It's Like

  • Changing who you are every few months
  • Everything feeling like a crisis
  • Feeling suicidal one minute then happy the next
  • Falling into fits of anger over little things
  • Getting into an important relationship but soon sabatoging it to avoid getting close
