Sooo... What are the facts???

Regulations controlling spring waters are .
What is the difference between bottled spring water, and municipal water? Well, municipal waters are monitored by the local health authority, so that means that all the minerals are monitored. While a study on bottled water, said that they will let a minimal amount of fecal inside the bottled waters, if they are any.

Whats the controversy between the two?

In the United States, bottled water and tap water are regulated by different federal agencies:FDA regulates bottled water and, EPA regulates the quality of tap water. Under the Safe Drinking Water Act the EPA has set maximum contaminant levels for approximately 90 contaminants that might be found in drinking water and 15 secondary maximum contaminant levels. Sometimes these bottled water companies over pass what they are supposed to, and when people started finding they are starting to drink regular ol' tap water.

What started the controversy?
When people started finding out that the environment started to collapse in a bad way, they probably declined bottle water. As I researched I saw two photos of before and after. It was Zephryhills springs. Before it was a beautiful spring, with people enjoying in it. The after photo was horrible, and disgusting. Debris was everywhere, and it wasn't properly maintained. Also possibilities could've been the excess amount of minerals that there are in bottle of water.

Why do people drink bottled water?
By buying bottle water people think that they are getting a healthier and better water than municipal water which is located
at there ol' sink.

What groups are on either side?

An Enumclaw group actually opposed to the consumption of bottled water, and also the people at Concord, Massachusetts. (Concord actually banned the selling of bottled water less than 1 liter.).While of course the owners and manufactures love for people to buy there "healthier" water, like Nestle.

What do they do to support there cases?

Well, Enumclaw group, talks about how it affects our wallet, community, and health, and Concord news says about all the debris the bottles can be in their city. While Nestle says that they believe in giving back, by providing us healthy water. As there motto "The Healthy Hydration Company", after all the research we know this isn't true.

What happening in Florida?
Apparently according to OrlandoSentinel, there is a water crisis in Florida, and Niagara Bottling, wants to even bottle more water, even if there is a water crisis. As you can see here , bottling companies don't care about the water they care about the stupid ,ones that they make. That is my opinion. Florida's water crisis is that it has to be conserved, unless you want it bottled somewhere else.

More info of bottled water.
We’re moving 1 billion bottles of water around a week in ships, trains, and trucks in the United States alone. That’s a weekly convoy equivalent to 37,800 18-wheelers delivering water. If bottled water does not necessarily offer purer water than tap water, surely it provides a better tasting water product, right? The answer to this question is no. Bottled water does not always taste better than tap water. Bottled wAter could have a bit of fecal matters in it.
