THE LEGISLATIVE BRANCH

  • They wanted to "insure domestic tranquility" they wanted peace and order within the country

LEGISLATIVE BRANCH

  • The legislative branch is made up of two houses of Congress- the Senate and the House of Representatives. There are 100 Senators in the Senate, 2 from each state.

LEGISLATIVE BRANCH

  • Legislative Branch: the lawmaking part of the government, called the legislature. Which also means the person who makes the laws

EXECUTIVE BRANCH

  • They wanted to "establish justice" they wanted to be ruled by laws not by the might of soldiers or the decisions of kings

  • They wanted to "form a more perfect union" they wanted the states to cooperate with each other
