Common Traits

  • Target Audience: Small Business Owner
  • Service: Business Plan, Finance Analysis
  • Content: Blog, Social Media(Twitter, FB)
  • Website Layout: Interactive Flash/Slides
  • Tone: Infomercial and Informational
Social Media:
Other consulting firms would only have a LinkedIn, and not Facebook/Twitter, or the other way around. Linked in is great for professional networking, but Twitter/Facebook is used by millions of more people, which would help network with smaller local businesses.

Blog: Create website traffic.
A lot of the websites I’ve found to have a strong blog presence, which help interacts with the readers. LC Enterprises has one, however it is rather inactive.

Website Layout:
Websites tend to be in bright cool colors, such as blue and green, in order to provide a professional outlook for the customers.

Through research, a lot of consulting firms tend to have interactive flash/slides mainly in their homepages to make it look fancy and professional.

Small font is common in all of them, because it shows professionalism.

There are two types of tones of communication: Infomercial & Informational.
Infomercial – uses related language that heavily motivates the customer into trusting the firm.
Clients review and consulting service introduction.

Informational – Backs up claims with statistics and tends to be lengthier with bulks of facts included, and it is usually a tone used by banking and IT-specializing consulting firms.
Using FAQs and event news to attract readers.
