USING THIS STRATEGY..

FIRST, YOU NEED TO PICK A SUBJECT THAT YOU'RE GOING TO STUDY FOR..

AFTER YOU PICK A SUBJECT..

  • You must start writing the terms in the word box
  • And you must also write the definitions in the definition box

AFTER YOU WRITE THE WORDS IN THE BOXES..

  • You must find a tool to time yourself while you use this startegy
  • (Ex: Stopwatch, iPad, iPhone, etc)

AFTER YOU FIND A TOOL

  • You must start timing yourself saying the word and then the definition.
  • You must find the FIRST word and then find the matching defintion..
  • After you go over all of the words..
  • Stop the tool you're using and writr the time you have in the box
  • The box should appear in the right hand corner with numbers..

MEMORIZING..

  • Once you memorize the terms, you will notice that your time is decreasing..
  • This means that you're starting to know the terms
  • It also means that you are no longer looking for the definition after looking at the term.

AFTER YOU'RE FINISHED WITH TIMING YOURSELF..

  • Either repeat the subject with new words or start something different.
