Brittany Elmslie is an Australian gold medalist for swimming. She was born on June 19, 1994 (age 22) she was born off the Sunshine Coast in a place called Nambour
Growing up in Noosa, on the Sunshine Coast, Brittany started competitively swimming at age 13.
She had her first international glory at the 2009 Junior Pan Pacific Championships in Hawaii where she came home with gold in the 50m and 100m freestyle and two bronze relay medals.
This is not her first Olympics, she has been in two Winter Olympics. She didn't have any obstacles for the Olympic swimming.
I chose this athlete because I enjoy swimming and she has a interesting story.
