Often referred to as the southern gateway to the Kimberley, this tropical seaside town simply oozes with charm and character.

Cable beach is a 22 kilometres stretch of beach in Broome Western Australia. It was named after the telegraph cable laid between Broome and Java in 1889.

The dinosaur footprints at Gantheaume point can be seen at very low tides. The footprints are more than 130 million years old and there are 3 types of footprints.The footprints around Broome have been identified of these dinosaurs: Stegosaur, Sauropod, Wintonopus, Theropod and Megolosauropus Broomensis.
