BRUISE

DEFINITION

• It is a injury of the soft tissue that results in breakage of the local blood vessels and leakage of red blood cells.

CAUSES

• A cause can be if you fall on a hard object, or of something hard hits you.

Symptoms

• Symptom for a bruise can be pain, swelling, your skin turning colors most likely blue, purple, black, and grey.

First aid procedures

• Try to ice the area of the bruise, try to keep the bruise elevated above the heart if possible.

Advanced care needed

• If you got to the hospital or doctor all they will do is get you a medicine prescription
