PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Bubble tea is a drink that was originated in Taiwan in the 1980's.
It all started when a tea stand added their twist to tea by adding fruit flavoring.
Because of the cool and sweet flavor children loved it!
Soon other places started adding flavoring to their teas.
When you drink bubble tea you need a fat straw to get the tapioca pearls at the bottom or top.
The main ingredients to make bubble tea are tapioca, milk/creamer, brewed tea, sugar and water.
Most tea recipes have a tea base that is mixed or shaken with fruit or milk.
There are two different types of teas, fruit flavored tea and milk tea.
Some shops have hybrids of a fruit milk tea.
Toppings may vary like jelly and tapioca. All are optional.
If the tapioca feels like an unripened banana, it is under cooked
If the tapioca feels like jello it is overcooked.
White tapioca is made out of caramel, starch and chamomile root extract
Black tapioca is made out of sweet potatoes, cassava root and brown sugar.
