  • Product distribution: similar to a supplier-dealer relationship however franchisee is required to observe a few guidlines such as agreeing to sell only the franchisors brand exclusively.

PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION VS. BUSINESS FORMAT (PART 2)

  • Business Format: the franchisor provides the franchisee with an established business, including name and trademark, for the franchisee to run independently

OUR BUSINESS

  • Our culvers will be a Business Format because of the easier start up, freedom to adjust to the market, and less start up cost.

INVESTING OR STARTING FROM SCRATCH?

  • Culver's is beloved restaurant that started in Wisconsin that has grown into its own industry that many people may hope work for. Our Culver's would start up as an investment into a franchise. Our reasoning for this includes lower failure rate, and help with the initial start up. One disadvantage our company may face would be their way or the highway. Our company would be forced into the expectations of the company itself.

Selecting a business: Culver's is our chosen Franchise.
