  • After this binge eating episode, ridiculous amounts of efforts are put in to avoid gaining weight - done so by purging (forcing your fingers down your throat to then make yourself to vomit .)

  • There would be a lot of absent days at school & therefor keeping contact with school friends would start to fade away.
  • If a social sport is played in-between attending medical treatment, doing both would be too difficult.

Work Issues

  • Seek medical assistance - dietitian, pediatrician.
  • Someone to assist when making food choices (healthy).
  • Making better life-style choices (sleeping for at-least 8 hours or just being organised and getting into efficient life habits.)

FACTS

  • Sometimes during binges, some can eat up to 20,000 calories of food - 200 Twix sticks
  • Bulimia usually effects the ages between 15 and 20 years.
  • Only about 45% of people who have bulimia, fully recover - recovery is more likely with treatment.
  • Three percent of the population have bulimia ( Western World)
  • Nine out ten with bulimia are females.

Untitled Slide

  • As mentioned previously there is no way of preventing bulimia. Even science studies haven't found any way of prevention.
  • It may take years until there is a clear result of prevention.
  • Once there is a clear prevention found, the numbers of bulimia will instantly drop and there will be more healthy bodies living in this wide world.

Thankyou
