Bullying is repeated, persistent and aggressive behaviour directed at an individual, intended to cause fear and distress, harm to a persons body, feelings, self esteem or reputation.

What Can We Do As Teachers?

We have the ability to start an Anti-Bullying Organization/Group within our school.

How:
- Get permission from administrators
- Find at least 2 other teachers interested in joining
-Find students interested in joining

When/Where:
- Host the first meeting, decide when and where the group will meet. Decide on a safe space where students feel comfortable.

Spread the word:
- Let students know what we are doing
- Encourage students to become a part of the group

Who can join:
- ALL ARE WELCOME
- You do not have to be a bully to join or have been a victim to bullying, we are trying to put an end to bullying so help from everyone is required

What will we talk about:
- Ways to PROMOTE ANTI-BULLYING within our school community
- Ways to PREVENT bullying within our school community

I personally feel that by having an anti-bullying group in the school, bullying will be less likely to occur.
