WHY WAS IT MADE?

  • The priests were sinful
  • They needed to make an offering to atone for their sins
3.

THE REGULATIONS

  • The animal that was to be prepared was a bull
  • The priests had to put linen on their body
  • "The priests shall put on his linen garment..." - Leviticus 6:10
4.

PREPARATION

  • He shall lay his hand on the burnt offering
  • He shall kill the bull before The Lord
  • He shall cut the offering into pieces
  • Fire shall be put on the altar and wood be arranged
5.

WAYS TO BE CARRIED OUT

  • They were to throw blood on the altar
  • They did this for a symbolic representation to satisfy the wrath of God
6.

POINT OF SACRIFICE

  • The priests shall make atonement of their sins
  • They shall do this before The Lord
