We approached the interview process by coming together and discussing who each other knew in the business world. Our first interviewee, Jered Miller, is a web designer/graphic designer. Easy to find and approach being Dakota's brother. The second person we interviewed was Joseph Baffa, who is the director of Human resources here at Vanguard university. He is also Lauren Baffa's dad so there was easy access to talk to him in person.

2. JERED MILLER

Interview conducted Sept. 11 at approximately 3pm. We discovered that customers usually think they are right. Also it is a challenge to meet there expectations in the allotted time when they don't fully comprehend the scope of the work actually required to build a successful website.

3. Joseph Baffa

This interview was done for Joseph Baffa who is a Human resources consultant to several companies. We interviewed him on september 11, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Human Resources office. We discovered several things that go along with his consulting for companies as well as training for employees, which is what he does for his consulting job. His main challenge is when he invests time and energy into a company but is held back because he is not fully an employee just an outside source. Also Mr. Baffa stated that the expectations can be high when he first arrives at a job, where the company can sometimes expect him to fix the entire company, where his actual job is to do specified tasks such as training in sexual harassment and training human resources departments.

4. FINDINGS

-Regarding working for a company temporarily, we found that Mr.Baffa finds it hard to leave a company once he meshes with their employees because he gets involved during his project and then leaves once its over, also leaving the new relationships formed.

-In the interview with Jered Miller, our finding was that you will always need to approach a business situation with low expectations of the other party. Customers will almost always attempt to take advantage of you. Money talks. A good counter to this is to cater to the customer depending on how much they are endorsing you.

5. IDEAS

For Jered we thought of ideas on how to help with his costumer expectation level. If he put together a small portfolio to bring with him to clients separate from what he usually does, that explains how extensive his web designs really are. This would make it clear the work level required to making the website and then his costumers would be more understanding.

For Mr. Baffa we were thinking along similar lines, if he included in his contract a clause that allowed him better access to the company as if he were an actual employee. This would help him be able to do his job more efficiently.
