PRESENTATION OUTLINE
1.
ABEL
FROM THE STORY OF CAIN AND ABEL
2.
Background Of Abel
Adam and Eve first conceived
twins named Cain and Abel. Able
hunted and kept livestock. Cain farmed
the land for fruits and vegetables.
They both gave sacrifice to God.
3.
Original Sin
Adam and Eve committed the first sin
They both ate the God forbidden fruit
This sin is passed down through them
All of man kind is forever born with sin
4.
Envy and Jealousy
When the day came to present a sacrifice to God,
Abel brought his finest cuts of meat and livestock for sac.
Cain brought just his average fruit and vegtables
God accepted Ables offering but not Cains
Cain allowed his jealously of Able to become anger, and his anger to become hate
5.
THE MURDER OF CAIN
Instead of proving himself as worthy as Abel
Cain decided to murder Abel
By murdering Able, Cain believed God would
accept his offerings
Cain's envy had overtaken him
6.
I Am Not My Brother's Keeper
Later on The Lord looked upon the earth and did not see Abel
"And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother?"
And Cain said to God," I am I brothers keeper?"
God now knew what Cain had done to his brother
7.
Once God knew what Cain had done he punished him
God proceeded to tell Cain that whenever he tried
to till the ground, nothing would grow...ever. God also
told Cain that he would walk the earth as a fugitive.
God also marked Cain, so should anyone kill him, --
8.
BANISHMENT (CONTINUED)
-he would be avenged sevenfold
Cain then left the presence of
God in shame

9.
SIN
Because Adam and Eve sinned
forever their lineage would be born
with sin. This is why there is sin in the
world today, and why many years ago
Cain killed his brother Abel
