  • Rules - block skills, alter reality
  • Shared delusions
Each game has these characteristics

Shared delusions being everyone needs to agree to this altered reality or it's cheating.

ENDURING GAMES

  • evolving skills
  • recognize performance
  • challenges change
  • concrete feedback
  • not natural selection
  • skill development

GAME TYPES

  • Tag - combative, fleeing
  • Target - indirect (bocce), direct (darts)
  • Invasion - basketball, lacrosse
  • Fielding - baseball

Create one chain with hands on shoulders
Front tries to catch tail

Types of approaches we'll use during this unit.

Take a game and change it.

Jigsaw - each group member has a specific role to change ... borders, how to be unfrozen, etc.

Open will be the last as there won't be many guidelines for this one.
