The Pangaea and Pannotia were during the Cambrian age, so the land was connected.

Pangea was before the pannotia when earth was broken up into smaller contents.

Trilobites were the first organisms to experience wide spread extinction. They were wiped out due to competition, rapid shifts in global temp, and sea level changes.
