  • Some of the provinces we went to are British Colombia, Ontario and Alberta
  • The cities we went to are Kelowna, Vancouver, Toronto, and Edmonton

SCHOOL

  • They dont wear school uniforms
  • They can wear their hair down
  • They can have days wear they can't go outside because its snowing to hard
  • Their school year is different

HALLOWEEN

  • On Halloween everyone dresses up and decorates their house
  • All of the kids trick or treat and parents give out candy
  • Because everyone hands out candy, you get a lot more candy!

THANKSGIVING

  • Thanksgiving is where you give thanks to family and good things in life
  • It used to be to celebrate the harvast
  • Its Canadian and American
  • You usually eat turkey and stuffing for dinner
  • And pumpkin pie for dessert

CANADA DAY

  • People usually celebrate Canada day by having a barbecue
  • Their are community events that people can go to
  • Canada day is on July 1st

DIFFERENCES

  • People drive on the other side of the road
  • The steering wheel is on the other side
  • People say garbage can not rubbish bin
  • Their accent is different (they pronounce "r" more)
  • Their are more 2 storey houses than 1
