A cherry blossom is the flower of any of several trees of genus Prunus, particularly the Japanese Cherry, Prunus serrulata, which is called Sakura.

They're native to the Himalayas.

are distributed to temperate zones all over the world.

No ornamental cherry blossom trees produce fruit.

They symbolize clouds in Japan because they bloom all at once.
