JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Represents a special financial institution that works with larger companies, organizations, and individuals interested in investing their money in stocks, hedge funds, bonds, assists with company mergers or acquisitions, and deal with IPO's for a company with a product ready to launch
  • Have many opportunities for travel, working with clients and companies all over the country, and perhaps even on the global level.
  • Most investment bankers work 90-100 hours per week their first year.

COMPENSATION

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • University of California-Berkeley: Haas School of Business
  • Major in Economics, Finance, Accounting, etc (double major)
  • Masters in Business Administration
  • Internships in private equity, hedge fund internships, venture capital, etc

  • Investment Banker Analysts- Accompany their investment banking mentor and sit in on client meetings
