MY CAREER CHOICES

INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION

• Jobs of the Industrial Revolution were, farming, agriculture, manufacturing, and factories.
• Wedges, employers could set the pay as low as wanted because people were willing to work as long as they got paid. People worked fourteen to sixteen hours a day for six days a week. However, the majority were unskilled workers, who only received about $8-$10 a week, working at approximately 10 cents an hour.
• Machinery was not always fenced off and workers would be exposed to the moving parts of the machines whilst as they worked. Children were often employed to move between these dangerous machines as they were small enough to fit between tightly packed machinery. This led to them being in a great deal of danger death rates were quite high in factories. Plus the the long hours they worked were dangerous it mad them exhausting which made them slow that's dangerous in a factory.

MY TOP CAREER

• The career that I am most interested in is criminal anthropology.
• The wages the average annual salary of $57,080, working for local government salary of average of 58,150, working for federal government salary or average of 72,980.
• Either work in a class room or work in a field.
• Process skeletal evidence. They gather information used to determine the individuals age at death, sex and physical condition.
• Individuals need a bachelors degree in anthropology or a related field and a masters degree in anthropology.

MY SECOND CAREER

• The second career I am most interested in is the FBI.
• A newly assigned special agents receive a base salary of $43,441,plus locality pay ranging of 12.5% to 28.7% of base, as well as availability pay, which equates to a 25% increase in adjusted salary due to the requirement that agents average 50 hour work week. Therefore, new agents may earn $61,100 to $69,900 depending on the location of their assignment

If interested in becoming FBI agents need to possess some previous work experience with law enforcement agencies.
