PRESENTATION OUTLINE

CAREERS IN MATH

There are lots of careers that involve math . The career that I chose is an Exterior Architect.

Architecture- is the process and the product of planning, designing, and constructing buildings and other physical structures.

In order to be an Exterior Architect, you have to get a bachelor of architecture degree. This requires attending a professional program with a five-year curriculum, leading to the Bachelor of Architecture degree, requiring 162 credits.

I would attend Penn State because it is a good architecture school. There are even more colleges to go to like Clemson .

To be any type of architect you have to have a creative mind, because you have to design the plans for a building from scratch.

There are many job openings, most that I found in my search were in New York City. The company that I would choose to work for would be Infosys. This company had a few different positions open all with good starting salaries for exterior architects.

THE AVERAGE SALARY IS 89,000

How Math is Used in Architecture
Geometry is used to draw out the plans. Calculus is used to test and evaluate the strengths of the materials an architect plans to use for each building they design.

Architecture is an amazing thing field of work. If you think about it, every building that you see or walk inside, was designed by an architect.
