PUSH AND PULL FACTORS

• Pull factors are things that pull people to a certain area.
• While push factors are thing the push people out of an area.
• For example: push factors would be like dieses.
• While pull factors are like work, or money.

JEWISH MIGRATION

• The Jewish where pushed out of there lands by the Romans and were forced to migrate.
• Most Jews settled in holland,Hungary,Poland,and Italy.
• In 1492 Ferdinand ordered Jew to covert to Christianity or leave Spain.
• Jews in Europe faced prejudice.

CUBANS FLEE COMUNISM

• Cubans fled because of castors rules and ways of living.
• Any people who spoke against Castro were imprisoned.
• Castro was elected by promising a democratic government but lied.
• Cubans traveled to the U.S. To enjoy the life of a democratic society.

THE FLIGHT OF AFGHAN REFUGEES

• Citizens fled Afghanistan because the soviets invaded.
• Citizens also fled because of the fighting between the U.S. also.
• Most people fled to near by countries.
• There are now about 5 million refuges in Pakistan.

BURUNDI AND RWANDA

• There was fighting between the Hutu and Tutsi.
• The Hutu army massacred half a million of the Tutsi.
• People who feared for there lives fled to nearby places.
• Thousands died in the refuge camps from diseases such as cholera.

GUEST WORKERS IN GERMANY

• People left turkey for higher wages in Germany
• Many of them live in the ghettos where people do not speak German
• Most returned to turkey after a while but moated stayed
• Most the the people are still not German citizens even after decades.

IRISH POTATOES FAMINE

• Irish people had depended on potatoes
• Then a disaster which made the potatoes un edible came.
• It was a disease for the north that caused this.
• Millions starved the other million moved to America.

DROUGHT IN THE SAHEL

• The droughts in Sahel were thought to be caused by climate change.
• This has lead to have been devastating for the soil
• It also killed thousand of live stock.
• Duster's had made farming impossible.

THE ATLANTIC SLAVE TRADE

• Africans were taken from there home land and enslaved
• This had disrupted there way of life and caused war.r
• Africans that survived the sea voyage were actioned off.
