STEM agenda
* build teacher capability
* increase student engagement and achievement
* build whole school plans to improve stem outcomes

The main priority of state schools is to implement the Australian Curriculum for Science, Mathematics and Technologies. If you choose to teach this curriculum as individual subjects you are teaching STEM.

At times schools have elected to use cross-disciplinary approaches to teaching STEM subjects. This is also teaching STEM.

Just make sure that you are teaching, assessing and reporting the individual Australian Curriculum subjects and you will be aligning to state schools policies. The P–12 curriculum, assessment and reporting framework gives guidelines on state schools policies in implementing the Australian Curriculum.
