- Catawba tribe joined together with the Commanches

Daily Life
- Men were hunters and went to war
- Woman were farmers and cooked all of the food
- Children helped around with chores
- Grandparents did most of the tutoring and story telling

- Deer, Wild turkeys, small game and fish
- Corn, beans, and squash
- Blueberries, tomatoes, and strawberries

Housing
- Small round circular shaped homes
- Made of wooden frames and bark walls
- Large building for meetings
Housing requirments
- 8-10 feet tall
- Up to 6 people could live together
- Survives all seasons
- Changed to square houses after colonization
