The reason I chose a ski resort for my project, was because I enjoy skiing and I guess you could say it's the sport I'm best at and my favorite sport. "Frost Mountain" is a name I created for my attraction, which is based on the place I normally go to ski, "Shawny Mountain". Shawny includes not only skiing but also snowboarding and tubing (which I also enjoy).

An owner

A ski lift.

Professional ski equipment manufacturers.
And a beautifully painted lodge.

THE SKI LODGE OWNER...

Controls what goes on at the mountain.
Makes sure their lodge is safe and comfortable.
Keeps the mountain and equipment safe and ready to use.
Keeps his buissness running smoothly.

The owner of the lodge is like the nucleus. The nucleus is the control center of the cell which controls all cell activities. The owner controls what happens at the lodge. Both of them are the control centers, so the lodge owner would be the nucleus.

THE SKI LODGE ADMISSION GATE...

Lets people in and out of the park.
Needs a wristband/ticket/season pass to be let in.

The ski lodge admission gate is like the cell membrane. A cell membrane lets certain things inside and outside of the cell. The admission gate lets people inside and outside of the lodge as long as they have a ticket or a season pass. Since both the admission gate and the cell membrane lets things in and out of an area, the admission gate would be the cell membrane.

THE SKI LODGE DELIVERY TRUCK...

Packages and transports ski equipment.
Transports the equipment to frosty and sometimes to other lodges.

The lodge's delivery truck is like the Golgi bodies. A cell's Golgi bodies packages materials and carry them to another part of the cell. The delivery truck packages and delivers skiing equipment. Both of them package and deliver, so the delivery truck would be the Golgi bodies.

THE LODGES KITCHEN FREEZER...

Stores food.
Keeps the food safe and frozen.

The kitchen freezer is like a vacuole. A vacuole stores food, water and other materials. The kitchen freezer stores drinks and food. Both of them are used to store things, so the freezer would be like the vacuole.

THE SKI LIFT...

Transports the customers from the bottom of frosty to the top.
Allows the customers to be lifted up to ski.

The ski lift is like the endoplasmic reticulum. The endoplasmic reticulum transports materials from one part of the cell to another. The ski lift transports people from the bottom of the mountain to the top. Since both of them are methods of transportation, the ski lift is like the endoplasmic reticulum.

THE SKI LIFT POWER GENERATOR...

Powers and gives the ski lift it's energy.o
Let's the ski lift have enough energy to meet the skier's needs.

The ski lift power generator is like the mitochondria. A cell's mitochondria powers and gives the cell it's energy. The ski lift power generator powers the ski lift to do it's job. Both of them give power, so a ski lift power generator would be the mitochondria.

THE SNOW PLOWERS...

Clear away the un-needed snow.
Shapes the mountain.
Makes the area look fresh.

The snow plow trucks are like the lysosomes. Lysosomes get rid of unneeded materials. The snow plow trucks clean up and fix the unseeded snow. Both of them get rid of things, so the snow plow trucks would be the lysosomes.

SKI EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS...

Makes the ski equipment.

The ski equipment manufacturers are like ribosomes. Ribosomes produce proteins. The ski equipment manufacturers produce the ski equipment. Both of them produce things, so the ski equipment manufacturers would be the ribosomes.

SKI LODGE PAINTERS

Paints the lodge blue.(during the summer)
Lets the sun dry the wood.

The ski lodge painters are like chloroplasts. The chloroplasts give a plant cell it's color and receives that color from the sun. The lodge painters give the lodge it's color and lets the sun dry it. Since both give color and have something to do with the sun, the lodge painter would be the chloroplasts. (In a plant cell)
