•The job of the nucleus is to be the leader and tell every organelle what to do. The nucleus is also the place where DNA is found which is
information about the organism.
•A tour guide is like the nucleus because the tour guide tells you what to do and what not to do and gives you information about the animals.

•The job of the nucleus is control the cell activities.
•The help desk is like the nucleus because they both give specific directions to what should happen in the big production.
•With out the help desk the whole the zoo would collapse.

•The job of the cell wall is to protect the cell including the membrane.
•The cell wall forms the outer rectangular shape of a plant cell.
•A steel wall is like a cell wall because it too forms the shape of the zoo and protects the people inside the zoo.

•The cell membrane is a gel like material that is found around both plant and animal cells.
•The job of the cell membrane is to protect the organelles and to keep them together.
•A fence is like the cell membrane because it protects the objects that is within the fence.

•The job of the vacuole is to give the cell the food and water it needs to survive.
•Plant cells have larger vacuoles than animal cells because plant cells are autotrophs which means it is an organism that can produce its own food using light, water, carbon dioxide, or other chemicals.
•Water fountains and storage centers are like vacuoles because they provide water to the people who are touring and who are thirsty, also they provide food for the animals.

•The job of the endoplasmic reticulum is to transport proteins made by ribosomes.
•There are two types of E.R. there is rough and smooth. Rough E.R. is the one where there are ribosomes attached to it. Smooth E.R. doesn't have ribosomes.
•A trolley is like the endoplasmic reticulum because it is a form of transpotprtation.

•The ribosomes job is to make new proteins.
•Ribosomes are usually found in the rough endoplasmic reticulum, but can also be found throughout the cytoplasm.
•The ribosomes are like the guests because it is the cell organelle consisting of proteins found throughout the cytoplasm just like the zoo guests are found inside the zoo.

•The cytoplasms job is to hold the cell organelles of the cell (very busy).
•The cytoplasm is like animal sites because it is the busiest part of the cell just like in the animal sites you see the most action around the zoo.

•The job of the mitochondria is to provide energy to the cell.
•This is similar to a buffet because food provides energy to people/animals.

•The job of the ribosomes is to create proteins for the cell. Ribosomes are created in the nucleus make proteins that help repair tissues, a source of energy, etc.
•Nuts are a good source of protein.
•I chose nuts to resemble ribosomes.

•The hod of the chloroplast is to absorb sunlight and to add it with water and carbon dioxide gas to produce food for the plant.
•Solar panels are like the chloroplast because they both capture energy and make energy for the cell/zoo.

•The job of the lysosome is to act as a digestive system, receiving wastes.
•A recycling bin is like lysosome because it collects wastes too.

•Golgi bodies is to package and distribute proteins made by the cell.
•A gift shop is like Golgi bodies because it does packages things, it receives, and sell them,and distributes things.
