  • The Muscle Cell helps your body move
  • Muscle Cells contain protein filaments
  • The Muscle Cell maintains your body's posture

RED BLOOD CELLS

  • Red Blood Cells are in blood
  • Red Blood Cells give oxygen to every other cell in your body
  • Red Blood Cells don't have DNA

WHITE BLOOD CELLS

  • Protects your body from infections
  • White Blood Cells kills germs and viruses

STEM CELLS

  • Can produce more of themselves or specialized cells
  • Can develop into different types of tissues or organs
  • Embryonic and Non Embryonic are two types

OSTEOCYTES

  • Bone-forming cell
  • Entrapped with Bone Matrix
  • Lies within a Lacuna
  • Communicates by canaliculi (a tiny channel)

CHONDROCYTES

  • Found in Cartilage Connective Tissue
  • # of Chondrocytes found in cartilage determines how flexible it is.
  • Produce and maintain Cartilage Matrix
