The idea of why plants are green is because of chloroplasts which is green.

WHY IS CHLOROPLASTS GREEN?
IT IS GREEN BECAUSE IT CONTAINS THE GREEN PIGMENT CHLOROPLASTS IN THEIR THYLAKOID MEMBRANES.

Water is Oxidized and oxygen is released in the photosynthesis electron-transfer reactions

Chloroplasts absorbs sunlight and uses it with water and carbon dioxide gas to produce food for the plant.

Chloroplasts play an important part in the process of photosynthesis in some organisms.

If we didn’t have chloroplasts in plants it would cause death of some animals.
