CVHS was originally built where Greenaces Middle School is now located.
Central Valley High School was originally built to accomodate for the overcrowding of students at Vera High School.

CVHS Althletics and clubs
- Football
- Golf
- Robotics
Football: Try-out in the fall, practice throughout the week, there is a summer football camp and weight training.
Golf: Practice Monday through Friday, and have great golf skills, as it is a cut sport.
Robotics: Have to meet after school every day.

CVHS has many dances throughout the school year, including the Tolo dance.
CVHS dances are the mixer, homecoming, Winter Formal, Tolo dance, and senior prom. The tolo dance is what the rest of the country calls a Sadie Hawkins dance.

Community Service
CvHS requires 5 hours of Community service each year
CVHS thinks community service is very important and that every student should give back to their community.By requireing comminity service, it gives students a chance to learn skills in service learning.

The CVHS booster club is made to help out everybody in the CVHS community.
The booster club works to provide resources and opportunities to its students, staff and families. Anyone can join, but they have to pay a fee.
