PRESENTATION OUTLINE

UPPER CLASS

  • The upper class has luxurious homes like the background picture.
  • They have the money to own any kind of house and to isn many houses.

UPPER MIDDLE CLASS

  • Upper middle class.
  • These people are professionals that have graduated from a university.
  • Includes people like business executives, professionals, etc.

LOWER MIDDLE CLASS

  • Lower middle class are people who only graduated from High school and received some college education.
  • There jobs include like lower-level nanagers, skilled craftworkers, and even supervisors.

WORKING CLASS

  • Working class are the people who only graduated from the high school.
  • There jobs include like a sales person, they do not have many opportunities.

WORKING POOR

  • People who have received some education.
  • They serve as laborers, gardenrs, ect.

UNDERCLASS

  • People in the underclass have experienced poverty.
  • They struggle to survive and struggle for a job.

OBAMA CARE

  • ObamaCare’s goal is to give more Americans access to affordable and quality health insurance.
  • ObamaCare offers a number of new benefits, rights and protections.
  • My opinion is that obama care was not necessary,
  • Because there are other federal governments programs.

MEDICAID

  • Medicaid provides free or low-cost care for some low-income people, families and children, pregnant women, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
  • My opinion, Medicaid is a great way for Individuals to have a healthy life without worrying about covering their health issues.

NE DEPT. OF HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES

  • Nebraska's welfare reform program which helps families achieve economic self-sufficiency through job training, education, and employment preparation.
  • It benefits families who livein poverty.
  • This country helps people that are in need.

POVERTY IN THE U.S.

  • Nearly one third of U.S. children live in households with an income below 60% of the national median income in 2008.
  • In the richest nation in the world, one in three kids live in poverty.
  • Child poverty in the U.S. reflects the failure of policymakers.
  • There are many states with children and adults living in poverty.
  • Overall, 24.2 million U.S. children were living in poverty in 2012.
