Primary Stage ( Growing & Harvesting ) Coffee comes from the coffee tree. Within the coffee tree, there are coffee berries called cherries that ripen, then are harvested and extracted by hand.
Secondary Stage ( Transport of Raw Materials, Manufacturing ) There are 2 coffee beans in each cherry, they are removed then the beans are dried and husked through the pulping machine and fermentation before it is left to dry in the sun.
