  • They are both in United States And Canada
  • Rising over 14,000 feet into the sky!
  • You can find all kinds of animals...ex: Black Bears and Elk
  • It measures approximately 3,000 miles
  • Becuase it goes through so much area, it has all kinds of national parks

ST. LAWERANCE RIVER

  • The St. Lawrence River is one of the longest rivers in North America.
  • The River is 250 feet at its deepest point.
  • covers about 73,000 square miles
  • is a large river in the middle latitudes of North America.
  • One of the Great Lakes

NIAGARA FALLS

FACTS 🌊

  • Niagara Falls was the birthplace of commercial hydro-electric power
  • Volume of water: 150,000 U.S.
  • The flow of water was stopped completely over both falls on March 29th 1848 due to an ice jam
  • The firstperson to go over the Falls in a barrel survive was a 63 year old female schoolteacher.
  • Height: 167 feet

GREAT LAKES

FACTS

  • The Great Lakes are a group of large lakes in the upper midwest
  • Lake Huron, Lake Ontario, Lake Michigan, Lake Erie, and Lake Superior
  • There are at least 30,000 islands scattered throughout the Great Lakes.
  • At least 170 species of fish inhabit the Great Lakes.
  • Lake Superior is the largest of all the lakes.
