  • The 3 water falls make up the highest flowrate on Earth
  • The largest verticle drop is 165 ft.
  • Created by glacier activity around 10,000 years ago

  • They were covered with glaciers until about 10,000 years ago
  • 8 different states touch the great lakes
  • There are at least 30,000 islands scattered with in the great lakes

  • The prairies have cold winters and hot and humid summers
  • The north is covered with snow almost all year summer last about two months
  • Atlantic canada stays very cold a year with the warmest being 16-18 degrees celcius in july
  • The lake region is where most people live with cold winter and humid summers
